I can easily get caught up in the small details of my creations, which makes my work unique, but also increases time and cost. This simple, rectangular frame I found thrifting seemed to beg for a subtle, uncomplicated piece. I decided to try my hand at creating a mountainscape using larger pieces of glass that allowed the colors and texture of glass to provide depth and dimension without the small details.
