This lantern reminded me of a household object that might come to life in Beauty and the Beast and thus earned the name “Mrs. Potts.” It was a challenge to come up with a design that would do her justice, but fortunately, my daughter Elizabeth shared a photo of a window that provided the needed inspiration.
