A friend passed this five paned window on to me and it was love at first sight. I admired the heavy beveled glass in the panes and wanted to create a piece that allowed that beauty to show. I hoped using beveled glass pieces within the pane would help accent the beveled border, and the colored glass would create movement and bring out the bevels as well. It was an experiment to not fill the entire pane with glass, but I’m happy with the results.
