My husband was born and raised in Kansas and therefore has an affinity for sunflowers. Each year we grow a variety of sunflowers in our backyard and especially enjoy the giant ones that grow sometimes 10 feet tall. The birds and squirrels also appreciate our choice of flower during the winter months!
This piece was created specifically for my husband. What makes it even more special is the old pantry window I upcycled. It came from our 100+ year old home as part of the original pantry. Beautiful craftsmanship!
