Every day for ten years I walked the lake trail with my best buddy - my extra-large, lovable (and often bull-headed!) lab/dane mix, Tucker. Our favorite time was in the fall when the colors were vibrant and air a bit crisp. These daily walks inspired this piece. Sadly, Tucker isn’t around anymore to take these walks with me, but I’m sure he’s found a sweet spot to run and play.
